Valentine’s day is soon. Soooo very soon. However you spend it with a romantic partner or your galentine nail polish friends, it’s coming sooooon.

If you haven’t heard yet, Nailed It Nail Polish is releasing a fabulous fantastical flakie Candygram collection. This collection is inspired by various quotes on conversation hearts, the quintessential Valentine’s day candy!

The Candygram collection is made up of 4 polishes. Available 2/7 through 2/13 for preorder. $12.00 Each or $48 for the whole gram.

Cutie Pie: A peachy pink jelly base packed with gold to green crystal flakies, gold metallic flakies, a holo flakies.
Love Bug: A grape jelly base packed with gold to green crystal flakies, gold metallic flakies, a holo flakies.
X’s & Os: A white crelly base packed with gold to green crystal flakies, gold metallic flakies, a holo flakies.
Sweet Pea: An amaranth jelly base packed with gold to green crystal flakies, gold metallic flakies, a holo flakies.

All my swatches feature 3 coats plus a top coat (or matte when applicable). Photographed in artificial light as I’m a child of the night.

Let’s start this collection out with a bang! A peachy pink bag. Cutie Pie is totally a cute pink. I love the peachy tones in it and all the flakies in it are so complimentary.

Love Bug

Love Bug: A grape jelly base packed with gold to green crystal flakies, gold metallic flakies, a holo flakies.

Love Bug is my favorite of this collection if we’re being honest. I really like the contrast between the flakies and the squishy grape jelly base.

While we’re on the honest train, I love that each of these polishes has the same flakies in them. Not only does this bring the collection together, but it’s fun to see how the flakies dazzle in the different base colors.

If you guessed that Love Bug would look great matte, ding ding you’re right!

X’s & Os

X’s & O’s: A white crelly base packed with gold to green crystal flakies, gold metallic flakies, a holo flakies.

X’s & O’s is the white cool toned crelly we all deserve. Treat yourself!

As a kid I was never a fan of the candy shaped hearts this collection is inspired from. It was just too chalky for me. X’s and O’s is the grown up version of those chalky white candies. It’s super glam, high fashion, and versatile (I’m thinking bridal manis, spring manis and even christmas snow flake manis).

As I was shooting these pictures I did munch on some of the candy heart props. I’m hoping that the recipe has changed since I was a kid because they are actually pretty good now. Or this just means my taste palette has matured and I now enjoy chalky foods. Let me know in the comments if you love or hate conversation heart candy.

Sweet Pea

Sweet Pea: An amaranth jelly base packed with gold to green crystal flakies, gold metallic flakies, a holo flakies.

Sweet Pea is as pretty as a flower…or a box of chocolates. The perfect reddish rose for any Valentine’s day mani. I don’t know about y’all but I definitely get heart eyes around a box of chocolates.

Much like Love Bug, I’m personally loving the contrast between the amaranth base color and flakies. It’s a regal polish that demands attention. With that being said, I love it in matte.

Thoughts About the Gram

If you’re not obsessed with the Candygram Collection I don’t know if we can be friends. 🙁 What’s not to love? The collec is both glam and fun!

Each polish applied like a dream. The flakies look great with both a qdtc and matte. I can see a great skittles mani using all four polishes. I do use a peel off base coat when I swatch, but I’ve never had any real trouble removing Nailed It!’s nail polish from previous purchases.

You just can’t go wrong with this collection!
