Press Sample Notice
I present to you a Geekish Glitter Lacquer Charity Duo duo chrome. It’s about to get a little duo chrome madness with this charity duo in duo chrome. Double duo. Okay, I’m getting ahead of myself here. Let’s make some introductions.
On the right we have Set The World On Fire With Your Truth. Described as a kiwi green to muted pink duo chrome polish with gold holographic micro glitter. On the left is Surviving Can Be Beautiful. Described as a steel blue to violet duo chrome polish with silver holographic micro glitter.
Both polishes are priced at $10.00 each. In addition, 50% of the proceeds of this duo will be donated to PorchLight Family Justice Center in Jefferson County, Colorado. Pre-order is available starting April 7th 12 pm MST and ending April 13th at 8pm MST. Head on over to the Geekish Glitter Lacquer shop to purchase. Click here.
PorchLight Family Justice Center
Lexi, maker of Geekish Glitter Lacquer, created this duo chrome charity duo for Victim’s Rights Week. Which is April 7th – 13th. Hence the pre-order window being the same!
Before I jump back to showing off the duo polishes, let me tell you a little bit about the cause. PorchLight is a family justice center. A place for victims of violence to find help, resources and other services when faced by the aftermath of violence and the challenges it can bring. It is so important to have access to places like this in each community. Reaching out for help is reaching out for hope.

The Victim’s Rights Week sheds light on the issue and the passion behind all those trying to make things better for others. This year’s theme is: Honoring Our Past. Creating Hope for the Future. Lexi was inspired by the Victim’s Rights Week to create a stunning duo for her own passion for victim’s rights.

Surviving Can Be Beautiful!
I fell in love with Surviving Can Be Beautiful right away. Look at this shift! The steel blue transfers into the luscious violet so well. And to top everything off, we’re spoiled with a dusting of silver holographic micro glitter. Shown here is three coats with a quick dry top coat to lock everything. That way you’ll get lots of wear out of this polish!
I love the names of both of these polishes. They are empowering! Surviving Can Be Beautiful is for everyone, even if you aren’t a victim of violence. Life is hard sometimes. Trust your struggles because when you look back you’ll see that surviving is beautiful!
Set The World On Fire With Your Truth!
Set The World On Fire With Your Truth is the second part of this duo. How pretty is this kiwi green!? The shift here is a smooth transition to a dusty pink. On some angles one might say it’s a brownish pink. At the end of the day it’s pink. Pink and green! Spoiled again with gold holographic micro glitter. The gold pairs spectacularly well with this duo chrome.
I feel like these polishes double as inspirational quotes. Set the world on fire with your truth! To me, this resonates as, don’t hide your struggles. Share your experiences with others. This can simply motivate someone to change their life in a positive way. We all deserve to be happy and we can get there by helping each other. As well as showing kindness, lots of kindness.
I achieved 100% opaque at 2 coats, but decided to do a 3rd coat for good measure. Both polishes applied wonderfully and evenly.
