Geekish Glitter Lacquer – Don’t Make A Sound
Don’t mind me swinging in with a December group custom…at the end of January! Send all and any complaints to USPS please. I almost lost this polish in transit limbo. It was there for about two weeks. TWO WEEKS, USPS. I’m sure you’ve been there, the terrifying place where your USPS tracking number just stops updating. Speaking of heart stopping, check out this Geekish Glitter Lacquer group custom polish Don’t Make A Sound.
Don’t make a sound is inspired by the nurses in Silent Hill. YES! You read that correct. Lexi from Geekish Glitter Lacquer created a Silent Hill nail polish. She’s a fabulous, amazing woman for stirring up Don’t Make A Sound for the Polished Gamers Facebook Group.
I have a confession to make. I’ve never played ANY of the Silent Hill games. They are freaking scary! I have seen the movies. Hopefully this gives me some of my self proclaimed gamer cred back. One time I tried to play one of the original Resident Evil games, but then a zombie dog came flying through a window and that was the end of that.
What We Came Here For – The Polish!
Don’t Make A Sound is a light pink with shimmer, pink shimmer! In addition you’ll also find hot pink, gold and violet UCC flakies. All of my pictures are show with two coats and a glossy top coat. One might even be able to get away with just one coat.
Are you seeing these flakies in the bottle?! However, you may not be seeing them on my fingers as much. I should have shook my bottle like my life depended on it. As if Pyramid Head was after me! Pro tip of the day: shake that bottle like a Polaroid picture. Shake it. Shake it.
I channeled some horror gaming here. In other words, blood and gore. In Silent Hill, if you make a sound and catch the attention of a nurse she’ll come after you. However, it won’t be to make you feel better. The goal is to not let the nurse get her claws on you.
I wish I could point you in the right direction on where to purchase a bottle, but December has come and gone. However, the January custom for Polished Gamers is in full swing. This month the custom polish is inspired by Mousetrap! For more information check out the Facebook group. If you would like to see other Geekish Glitter Lacquers that I’ve written about click here.
